Frequently Asked Questions

So you have some questions about what to expect? We get it, even small commitments can feel overwhelming when you are running your own organisation. We have taken frequently asked questions about the Starting your Leadership Voyage Accelerator and answered them to help you to understand how you can fit this accelerator into your already busy work life. 

How long is the course?

12 weeks.

Will the weeks be consecutive?

Yes - apart from a break at Christmas

What are the weeks I need to commit for the course starting on 13th November 2023?

13th, 20th, 27th November

4th, 11th, 18th December

8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th January

5th, 12th February

How long will the live sessions be?

2 hours

Apart from the live sessions what else will I have to engage in as part of the accelerator?

Each week we will add resources and a challenge to help with your learning. We aim to release the challenge every Tuesday to give you plenty of time in the week to have a go at completing it. They will connect with the subject each week and will support you in the work you are already doing to establish your social enterprise. In completing the challenges throughout the accelerator you will develop a foundational framework that will allow you to successfully launch and establish your social enterprise.

The challenges and resources can be explored at any point in the accelerator at times that are convenient for you. But we encourage you to follow our structure of one challenge a week to help with your time management. The challenges and resources will stay available for 1 week after the final session of the accelerator before access to them is then closed. 

In addition there will be an option to attend an online 2 hour monthly group coaching session, held in the community live room.

How much time am I expected to commit to the accelerator?

We believe that you get out what you put in. Although we only have one live session a week, resources and challenges will be added to the community space weekly. You will be encouraged to share what you have done with your challenge or the difficulties you faced in completing it, in the online community so that others can learn from it and you can have our input throughout the accelerator. Whether you do this is completely up to you, we will not be assessing it, but we will support and pick up any conversations you have in the community about the challenges or your journey in the following weeks live. We may also ask how you got on with the challenge for that week in the live, but it will be up to you whether you give us the feedback on your journey.

When in the week will the live sessions be?

We deliver the live sessions on a Monday 12am - 2pm (GMT London)

How many live sessions a week will there be?

There will be 12 live sessions during the course.

What if I need to miss a live session?

We recommend that you try to attend all the live sessions as they will be interactive. But we also appreciate that life can get in the way and so all the live sessions will be recorded and be accessible inside the community area. 

Will I be asked to be on video for the live sessions?

This is totally up to you. The live sessions will only be shared with the rest of the cohort within the online community space. In putting your video on you will be consenting to it being recorded and seen by anyone within the cohort that missed that session. 

What happens if you cancel a session?

We do our absolute best not to cancel sessions, but occasionally emergencies happen. Where this is the case we will add an extra week to the end of the course.
